 Congratulations, Renji, on your well deserved promotion. 

Sub Lt Sanada and Sub Lt Yanagi have a nice ring to it. The promotion was well overdue. The lesson here is do not change posts months before a promotion is guaranteed or you'll have to wait nearly a year for the next opportunity. 


Now that the baths are complete, engineering is again focusing on upgrades. A list has already been started but if there's anything you think we should add, please let us know. 


Also, I hope everyone is enjoying the design and tiling of the baths. They were inspired by classic onsen and retro bath houses in Japan. It took a team of us numerous hours to finish it all. Though it was certainly a good way to teach some of the engineers new skills and qualifications.

Or clean myself with a bucket in the privacy of the bathroom. Both would be preferable options

And I could relax.... In bed. With my clothes on.

Those would get you clean-ish but not as good as a proper scrub and soak at the baths. And the heat will relax you more than just lying in bed.

I am scrubbed down quite thoroughly in the shower, don't worry sanada

... I have a weighted blanket. It's very relaxing. With my hot water bottle and humidifier.

Just put up a closed for maintenance sign and enjoy the baths.

Why are you so concerned about my level of cleanliness???? What are you planning that involves me being squeaky clean??

I just want you to enjoy the baths and relax a little. The hot water is also good for soothing sore muscles, encouraging circulation, and something nice to do before bed.

I don't have sore muscles. I just have sore joints because I'm an old arthritic man with the bone density of a 92 year old

... And I have other things I like to do before bed.

... You could get therapy about your trust issues.

The hot water would be good on your 92-year-old man bones.

Please don't tell me about them...

I have had plenty of therapy. I'm fine.

I could also drown in the hot water. Or die from my cold blood being overheated and my fingers could fall off from the sudden rush of heat to them. Best not to risk it

...I like to read? And do a sudoku. And rearrange the pillows in my loft nest

It's really not worth the risk of ending up in medbay. I'm quite happy as is with all my extremities attached

I enjoy my loft so much. I'm going to add a few more attachments in so I have some sneaky storage and maybe some more railing
