Equipment and Training

 Engineering is almost finished building and modifying all of the equipment needed for the expedition. 

The next step is training. Niou or I will be in charge of it. 

We want to have everyone on the teams practice how to use the tech inside and outside so that both missions are a success. The sooner you sign up for the training, the more time we have to fix any problems. We're also aiming for no broken or lost equipment.


And a reminder. We don't deal with first aid or medical problems. Talk to medbay if you want training for that.

Do you think he can be trained on certain tech or should it just be about training what he can touch, what he can touch with supervision/permission, and what he must never touch?

No I can do it. I quite like Byodoin. I'm sure you'll be busy enough dealing with the attitude of the head of agriculture.

Dr. Yukimura? He's not as bad as I thought he was. Quite competent.

At his job as a plant grower, perhaps.

I prefer the head of engineering.

I'm sure there are some transferrable skills.

The one eaten by the sandworm or the one who was enroute but then managed to get a better assignment and bailed on us?

Sure. Like how he treated engineers going out on the first round of expeditions and he wanted some specimens gathered.

He was much better when I dropped off the specimens.

And one positive interaction counteracts the attitude online for weeks, and assuming you're a moron who can't be trusted to hold onto a couple of specimen jars without breaking them?

He's got shit people-skills.

He's just dedicated to his plants. He talks to them like they're children. It's cute.

Then I hope that one day he finds a species of vaguely human-like plants that can photosynthesise and talk to him.
